High Speed Slitting and Rewinding Machine with Free-standing Unwind
With a Free standing Unwind and bigger Footprint than the DSR RL 400 and DSR FL 400, the ULTRASLIT OHP 500 is conceived for higher speeds of upto 500 m/min. Its unique Overhead web path also offers better visibility and unhindered access that only such a configuration can offer.
Besides the standard features accompanying all configurations, the specific benefits of ULTRASLIT OHP 500 include :
- A more hygienic work environment with reduced chances of contamination due to dust and insects. An aspect which is critical for the food and pharmaceutical industry.
- The absence of the conventional platform between the Unwind section and the Main machine as also the location and orientation of the various functional groups such as the Line Position Sensor, Splice table, Skew roll, Cutting unit and Trim extraction section allow easy accessibility at a comfortable height both while Operating and Web Threading.
- The area for visual inspection is at eye level with the possibility to incorporate Web inspection systems such as a traversable Camera or full width Stroboscope.
- The possibility to incorporate features such as a Floor lift mechanism for the Shaftless Unwind roll and Splice table for Unwind reel changeover.
- Speeds of upto 500 m/min.
ULTRASLIT OHP 500 can handle Flexible packaging substrates in their Plain / Printed / Coated / Co-extruded and Laminated combinations of base materials such as Paper (including label stock), Plastic films such as OPP, PET, CPP, PVC, POF and Aluminium foil.
